Fourth-grade students are thrilled to observe the transformation of their jack-o'-lantern. Placed in soil to decompose, "Pumpkin Jack," as the students affectionately call him, has now sprouted little pumpkin "babies." The class is eagerly watching his daily changes, captivated by the natural process unfolding before their eyes. Students throughout the building enjoyed the Halloween celebrations last month and older grades included a lesson on cultural celebrations including the Mexican holiday, Day of the Dead. Both Kindergarten classes and one First grade class met their unit Math goals.
